NBC Cancels The New Jay Leno Show

After weeks of rumors surrounding Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien's future on NBC, it has been confirmed that Jay Leno's show would be canceled from the channel. After knowing this many people around the globe thought that they might never see Jay Leno on NBC again. Many of his fan following of which are middle aged people weren't happy with the decision NBC had made and wanted the good old Jay Leno bac k every night on 11:35pm to give them a good laugh and time as he had been doing for the past few years.

The good news for the fans later appeared to be a very interesting one as NBC reported that they aren't actually canceling the show but moving it ahead on the clock.So now as reported, Jay Leno will be back to us but at 10:00pm instead of 11:35pm. NBC has basically moved the other shows such as Conan O'Brien's show to be broadcast 30 minutes before their fixed timing. This will definitely have both positive and negative affects on the two NBC icons. Conan O'Brien will lose his viewers since most of them had been used to of watching his show on the old time and it was cause a temporary difficulty for them to sit on their couches at the new time, every night to watch "The Tonight's Show" with Conan O'Brien. However, it will be a positive start for Leno since his show will be broadcast at a prime time and is also now extended making it a 90 minutes show.

Many fans of Conan O'Brien actually hated the idea since their favourite TV host and themselves were getting affected by this in a negative way. These people aren't ready to forgive Jay Leno for what he has caused to happen. Jay Leno many years back reported that he would retire from his show in the year 2009 but later realized that it was a silly idea. Many other channels offered him to join them between that time which resulted in Jay Leno's mind spinning around in a daze. But he later came back to the same channel from which his brilliant career began and he became very popular and beloved by many of his fans around the globe.

Mr Jay Leno has now announced his new show and it is expected to be about some new things as well such as celebrity cars. Jay Leno came up with this idea due to his favorite show 'Top Gear'. Jay said, "One of my favorite shows – an English show – is ‘Top Gear’ and as a homage to that show, we built a racetrack right next to the studio,” Jay explained of one of several new features for his 10 pm program.

The year 2010 has kicked it off for Jay Leno and viewers hope to see him do better and better with night entertainment.
