I was a kid when I saw a beautiful movie about a relationship between a man and a woman. However I didn't understand much that time, but I watched it again. It was autumn when they met, and everything was so bright, so wonderful in the beginning. They spent a lot of time together, they laughed a lot, anyway, love was in the air.

As winter came, a wind of change began to blow . They both lived in big houses with huge and thick walls, so they had to wear a lot of clothes on them not to feel cold. In this situation an approach is really hard. They tried to convince themselves that everything is alright, with chats about anything they could think of. The one thing that they was really careful is to stay near the open fireplace. But the warm given by the fireplace wasn't enough to unfreeze the feelings stuck in the snow. As time passed their chat near the fireplace and that glass of wine seemed to be endless. The cold wouldn't let them to get closer. Their lust pushed them into bed once, but it was so cold in the room, that they couldn't get rid of their clothes. Lust was gone and cold took its place. The feeling of those touches under the tree where they stood naked vanished.

It is amazing how cold can estrange people. They needed teach other, but the physical touch was so powerful that the lack of it broke that something apart. I don't know, maybe in spring, when everything comes to life they can be together, but the movie isn't about that. I simply tells us a winter story, where the snow and the cold separate people. Yes, people need warm. That can be understood both literally and allegorical. You need love. He needs love. They need to feel your love. Just think about your girlfriend or boyfriend. or maybe its better to sink a little bit in yourself. That need is present in our steps or gestures. When this warm is missing, the relationship begins to be to troubled. The words are not the same anymore, the gestures differ. A big hug, or just two words, or maybe a kind gesture can change the winter weather into spring. It's not easy, because as time passes, the barriers get higher and higher. That is why in the end of the movie the two break apart, without any tears.
