Man Eating Monsters

Sharks are considered to be one of the earliest creatures, roaming the seas even before the dinosaurs came on to the scene.It is a myth world wide that all sharks are man eating monsters. On the contrary to this myth only some specific kind of sharks are man eaters, not all of them. There are more than 300 kinds of sharks and the World’s most dangerous sharks are oceanic Whitetip, great white. The y can attack humans and they can be life threatening as well. There are infamous examples of shark attacks.

Every year hundreds of innocent people become a target for these wild, threatening and dangerous creatures, however the United States is number one for having numerous shark attacks. People who are in love with the sea and even the best swimmers became target of wild sharks and loose their precious lives. It is a myth that people think whenever they are going to cross a shark they will definitely loose there lives, on the contrary this is not the case. There are different kinds of shark attacks in different kinds of situations.

Sometimes people tend to touch sharks without any reason or unconsciously. This is called an invited attack! Sharks can be very dangerous if they are touched as they are very sensitive to touch. Sometimes they just find a person in water and attack out of curiosity killing the person or injuring them fatally. Sometimes sharks just bite a person and leave, which gives a hint to the scientists that shark do not like the taste of human blood. In any case sharks can and do attack people. Usually an attack tends to take place at night when it is a prime time for shark feeding or near murky waters and steep drop-offs. Deep water attacks are very common because there is a less chance for the survivor to swim off and survive.

Sharks are considered to be one of the most exploratory creature of the sea and sharks can be very possessive about their territory as they just don’t like any thing unusual in the sea besides sea water and other marine life. So when sharks come across some unusual creatures in their territory they simply attack it in order to explore the creature. A shark has very sharp smelling senses if they smell or feel blood in the water they will find the place and attack the person. So it is always advisable not to bleed in the water or else sharks will find you, moreover Sharks have a unique kind of electrical receptors which can sense movements in the water. People find this fact very interesting as this fact makes a shark intelligent creature of the sea and a killing machine at the same time.

One should only keep in mind that Sharks attack mostly on individuals not on group of people so it is always advisable to swim with a group of people rather then alone and that Sharks are very powerful wild creature, there is no doubt that sharks can be life threatening.
