Andy Murray is one of the youngest Scottish tennis players. This young star was born on 15th may 1987 in Scotland and at the age of two he started showing his keen interest in the field of tennis by holding a racquet in his hand. Andy Murray shares his passion of tennis with his older brother Jamie Murray who is also a tennis player by Profession, although Jamie is not as famous as Andy but he specialize s in doubles, which is an other form of tennis game play. Andy Murray got his early training from his mother Judy Murray.

Andy set a record of being on number 4 by showing his incredible performance at a very early age and he is the first British tennis player who is currently ranked on number 4. This makes Andy a rare gem from the Great Britain. Andy started showing his passion towards tennis at a very early age, at the age of five he started playing with his brother which shows Andy's history of junior tennis achievements and includes Orange bowl tournament. Orange bowl is a renowned event for the young tennis players. At the age of 12 Andy defeated his older brother Jamie. This was the first achievement of Andy Murray after this success he worked very hard to build his career in the field of tennis.

In 2004 Andy Murray won the BBC young sports personality award after showing his spectacular performance in junior US open. He worked really hard to sharpen up his skills and did lots of practice, learned best tennis techniques to win the tennis court. In 2008 US open he shocked the world by defeating world’s number 1 tennis player Rafa Nadal which makes him recognized by the world as a proffesional tennis player. Recently, the British gem Andy Murray won ABN AMRO world tennis tournament and he is also second player from britian to win wimbledon. Fans of Andy Murray say that he is a versatile player because even after being so young he has achieved many awards and gives spectacular performances in each match he participates.

Andy Murray ended up his relationship with his girl-friend Kim Sears, although she accompanied Andy to his tennis tours and she was quite interested in the world of tennis. The x couple met at US open in 2005 where they started their relationship .
